Crimea Mining Bee (Andrena labiatula)
This is a rather unknown species, described in 1993 based on three specimens that had been collected on the Crimea peninsula, Ukraine, where it inhabited chalky hillsides overgrown with Allium spp. and Phlomis spp..
The species’ name appears in lists of extinct insects, and it may indeed be extinct, it will be mentioned here for the time being for the sake of completeness.
