Light-loving Cutworm (Agrotis photophila)

The Light-loving Cutworm was described in 1879, it was endemic to the island of O’ahu, Hawaiian Islands.

The species reached a wingspan of about 3,6 cm.

The Light-loving Cutworm obviously was a lowland species, it was always found near the sea.

The species is now extinct.
