Crescent Stripetail Stonefly (Isoperla emarginata)  

The Crescent Stripetail Stonefly was described in 1952 based on a single female specimen, which was collected near the city of Grande Marais in Cook County, Minnesota, USA.  

The species’ name appears in lists that deal with extinct species, its taxonomical validity, however, needs a revision.
