Degener’s Lipochaeta (Lipochaeta degeneri)
Degener’s Lipochaeta was described in 1933 based on material that was collected near the southwestern point of Moloka’i in the Hawaiian Islands; the last of these collections date from 1928.
This species is almost certainly extinct now. [1]
