British Feathered Ear (Pachetra sagittigera ssp. britannica)

The Feathered Ear is divided into several subspecies that occur from North Africa to West Asia and Europe.

The moths reach wingspans of 3.2 to 4.5 cm.

The British subspecies, known in Great Britain as the Feathered Ear, is now considered extinct, although the reasons for this seem to be unknown.
